Melalite-Forte Cream is a topical medication primarily used to manage hyperpigmentation, a condition that results in dark patches on the skin. It is part of a group of medicines called skin-lightening agents.

In addition to managing hyperpigmentation, it is also used for melasma, freckles, and age spots. These are all conditions that cause uneven skin tone and discolouration, making the skin lose its natural complexion.

• Flea Control: The tablets kill adult fleas rapidly (within 8 hours of attachment) and prevent further infestations by killing fleas before they can lay eggs, thus breaking the flea life cycle.
• Tick Control: They are effective against several common tick species, including the American dog tick (Dermacentor variabilis), black-legged (deer) tick (Ixodes scapularis), Lone Star tick (Amblyomma americanum), and brown dog tick (Rhipicephalus sanguineus). They work within 48 hours of tick attachment.
• Mange Treatment: NexGard is also used to treat demodectic mange (Demodex canis) and sarcoptic mange (Sarcoptes scabiei var. canis), which are skin infestations caused by mites.
• Disease Prevention: By killing ticks, the product helps reduce the risk of contracting serious tick-borne illnesses such as Lyme disease.
• Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD): It can be used as part of a treatment strategy for managing FAD, an allergic reaction to flea bites. 

• Roundworms (Toxocara canis): Commonly used for intestinal parasites in dogs, cats, and livestock.
• Hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum): Effective against adult and larval stages of hookworms.
• Whipworms (Trichuris vulpis): One of the few treatments highly effective against whipworm infections.
• Tapeworms (Taenia species): Specifically treats certain types of tapeworms in dogs.
• Giardia: Often used off-label by veterinarians to treat Giardia infections in small animals.
• Lungworms: Used in livestock and some domestic animals to clear respiratory parasites.

Fenbendazole (brand names Panacur®, Safe-Guard®) is a medication used to treat a variety of parasites (e.g., roundworms, hookworms, lungworm, whipworm, and certain types of tapeworms) in dogs.

• Epilepsy/Seizures: Treats various types of seizures by decreasing abnormal electrical activity in the brain.
• Migraine Prophylaxis: Used to reduce the frequency and intensity of migraine attacks in adults and children (typically 12 years and older).
• Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome: A severe form of childhood epilepsy.

  • External Parasites (Ticks & Fleas):
    • Fleas: Kills adult fleas (Ctenocephalides felis and C. canis) within 4–8 hours of administration, effectively breaking the flea life cycle by killing them before they can lay eggs.
    • Ticks: Provides a full month of protection against at least five types of ticks, including deer ticks, American dog ticks, Lone Star ticks, Gulf Coast ticks, and brown dog ticks.
    • Mites: Effectively treats and controls sarcoptic mange, demodectic mange, and ear mites.
Primary Uses

• Flea Control: Kills adult fleas and treats infestations. It starts killing fleas within 4 hours and achieves 100% efficacy within 8 hours, preventing them from laying eggs.
• Tick Treatment: Controls and treats infestations of at least 5–6 major tick species, including the deer tick, lone star tick, American dog tick, and brown dog tick. By killing deer ticks, it specifically helps prevent infections that cause Lyme disease.

• Osteoarthritis Management: Relieves chronic joint pain, stiffness, and inflammation, helping to improve mobility and quality of life in senior or arthritic dogs.
• Post-Operative Recovery: Controls pain and swelling following soft tissue surgeries (like spaying) or orthopedic procedures.
• Musculoskeletal Issues: Provides relief for acute injuries such as sprains, strains, trauma, and developmental disorders like hip dysplasia.
• Fever Reduction: Offers antipyretic (fever-reducing) effects in dogs.

Komec Oral Paste is an antiparasitic oral medication, primarily used in veterinary medicine, especially for horses and other livestock. It contains Ivermectin, which is effective against a broad range of internal and external parasites, including worms, bots, and mites.
